HOLA! HELLO!
How are you today? I´m happy because it´s sunny and hot and because summer is coming!!
Here you a song for this week. I hope you enjoy it.

(Tarea voluntaria)

Hello everybody! I´m María, your music teacher. Occasionally, I'll post here some music activities. I hope you like them .
Today we are going to speak about Beethoven. He is a very important composer. His music for the piano, orchestra and others groups of instruments is fantastic. Mozart and Haydn were Beethoven´s music teachers.
He wrote nine symphonies. The nineth symphony is the best-Known Beethoven´s work. Nowadays is the anthem of the European Union.
THE NUTRACKER Hello everybody! I´m María, the music teacher. Today we are going to speak about Tchaikovsky and The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is a classical ballet in two acts. It is based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's fairy tale The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. It tells the story of a little girl who goes to the Land of Sweets on Christmas Eve. Tchaikovsky wrote the music. The Nutcracker was first performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, on 18 December 1892. It was a modest success. Some people liked it, others did not. Because of its reception, the ballet was rarely performed in those years.
Nowadays is one of the most famous Works of this composer.
